PSV and Ajax will play the first Eredivisie topper of season on September 21

The first major match of the upcoming Eredivisie season will be between PSV and Ajax in the sixth round. The first Klassieker (classic match) will take longer to arrive: Ajax hosts Feyenoord in December.

It was already announced on Tuesday what the first round would look like. On Wednesday, the Eredivisie published the draft schedule for the entire Eredivisie season. Football fans can circle the weekend of September 20 and 21 in red on their calendars, because in addition to PSV-Ajax, there is another great match on the program with AZ-Feyenoord.

Round ten also promises to be exciting. On Sunday, October 26, Feyenoord plays against PSV, while Ajax visits FC Twente. AZ and FC Utrecht conclude the weekend.

More patience is needed for the first Klassieker. Last season, Feyenoord and Ajax already faced each other on October 30. Next season, the two teams will not meet until the weekend of December 13 and 14. The match will be played in the Johan Cruijff ArenA. Feyenoord hosts Ajax on March 21 or 22 in De Kuip.

Round 32 could be important in the title race. Ajax and PSV will play each other again that weekend (May 2 and 3). With AZ against FC Twente, there is another cracker on the program.

The Eredivisie has determined the exact dates and times up to and including the twelfth round. The times have also been added in the last two rounds (May 10 and 17). The remaining times will be determined later.
