Rotterdammers arrested who, as fake collectors, in hundreds of thousands of euros

Three Rotterdam Residents Have Been arrested in An Investigation Into Fake Charity Collectors. The Trio Allegedly Collected Hundreds of Thousands of Euros in Various Locations in the Netherlands for a Charity That Did Not Exist.

The suspects are Seventeen, Twenty, and 22 Years Old. A Neighborhood Police Officer Tracked Down The Trio. Collection Boxes, Pin Terminals, and Administration Were Found in The Suspects’ Homes.

Accordance to the Police, The Three Collected in Various Parts of the Netherlands for a non-existent Charity. Often the Men Stood at Supermarkets or Train and Bus stations. They came well prepared, complete with badges, flyers and pin machines. The Collected Money was then Channeled to Personal Accounts.

Also, accordance to the police, more money was secretly extracted from unsusping donors than agreed upon. “If the donor wanted to donate, for example, 10 euros, a zero was or added to the pin terminal. The donor then unknowingly paid 100 euros,” the statement said. The Money has not yet leg recovered.

The Trio is Believert to Be Part of a Larger Group of Fake Charity Collectors. Those ties are still under investigation. The Police Do Not Rule Out More judgments.
