Racoon will tour various theaters in the Netherlands at the end of this year. During the tour, the band from Zeeland will perform a mix of their most famous Dutch and English songs.
“For us, it’s always about the song: how it sounds, what you want to say, without fuss,” Racoon says. “The theater is a fantastic place to let our songs come into their own.”
The tour will visit Amsterdam, Utrecht, Eindhoven, and Groningen, among other cities. Racoon released the album It Is What It Is in October. That was their first studio album in three years.
Racoon broke through at the beginning of this century with English songs like Love You More and No Mercy, and later switched to Dutch hits like Oceaan and Het Is Al Laat Toch. This combination of languages will also be central during the theater tour.
Ticket sales for the theater tour will start on Wednesday.
