Queens of the Stone Age comes to Carré for concert

Queens of the Stone Age

Queens of the Stone Age gives an intimate concert in the Koninklijk Theater Carré in Amsterdam. The American rock band, which is also at Lowlands, will perform there on October 26.

The performance in Amsterdam is dedicated to Alive in the Catacombs, the acoustic performance that the band previously gave in the catacombs of Paris. The band made special arrangements for it.

The so-called Catacombs Tour consists of six one-off shows at unique locations in Europe. The series starts in Milan and ends in the Royal Albert Hall in London.

The group around frontman Josh Homme is also in the country next month, when the band is one of the headliners at Lowlands. Queens of the Stone Age was originally supposed to play at the festival last year, but had to cancel due to Homme’s health problems.

The band, known for songs like No One Knows and Go With The Flow, has existed since 1996. The group has made eight albums, the newest of which was released in 2023. They performed in the Ziggo Dome that year.
