Although she did not expect to get the role, she got the redeeming phone call a week later. “I didn’t know what I heard. It is still bizarre that I have obtained one of the main roles in the film,” she says full of enthusiasm.

Delicious with the girls is about a group of friends who wants to breathe new life into their diluted friendship with a bachelor weekend. What starts as a relaxed girls, ends in a weekend full of revelations and misunderstandings.

Loeb previously presented programs such as Fboy Island and Scrooge Live . As a result, she was used to being in front of the camera. Yet acting was a completely new experience for her. “You have a very different cap,” she explains.

“In my theater shows I write everything myself, so you automatically master the text. But for this film I got a text that I had to learn by heart. Fortunately there was enough time to prepare the scenes and I was given room to improvise.”

Dutch version of The Hangover of Bridesmaids

According to Loeb, the film revolves around the friendship of the girlfriends. She compares the girls with the American comedy’s The Hangover and Bridesmaids . “We look for boundaries and dare to be rough in our humor. It’s not a good film,” she emphasizes.

Loeb looks back on her first acting job. If it is up to the actress, we will definitely see her again on the big screen. “It tastes like more. I thought it was fantastic to do. I am bored quite quickly and I love to keep myself challenged with new projects.”

She is also open to another film genre. “I always cycle some comedy in it, but drama or horror also seems great to me.”

Now that the comedian has her first film role on it, she dares to dream bigger and bigger. For example, her own satirical late evening show, as Arjen Lubach has, also seems to be something in the future. “Perhaps if Arjen is sick once, I can come in,” she jokes. “But that is the dot on the horizon for me.”
