Missing Tijn (13) after five months, two arrests in direct circle

A thirteen-year-old boy who went missing on January 14th has been found. He reported to a witness on Monday, who then called the police. According to the police, he appears to be in good health.

In connection with the investigation into the disappearance, the police have arrested two people. These are a fifty-year-old man and a forty-year-old woman from the immediate vicinity of the boy. The police suspect them of having removed the boy from legal authority.

According to Omroep Brabant and the Eindhovens Dagblad, the suspects are his father and stepmother. Omroep Brabant reports that they may have kept Tijn away from his foster family or biological mother, or at least knew where the boy was.

Although the boy has now been found, it is still unclear where he has been all this time and who was involved. The police are making an urgent appeal to share information about this.

Tijn left his place of residence on Tuesday evening, January 14th, for an unknown destination. It was soon suspected that he had been removed from legal authority. Since then, the detective agency has been conducting extensive investigations into his whereabouts.

During the search campaign, the police shared photos of Tijn. Due to the violation of his privacy, the police are now asking for these images to be removed.
