Kelly Osbourne has thanked her followers on Instagram for their support after the death of her father Ozzy Osbourne last month. The grief for her father is unpredictable, she writes in her Instagram Stories.
“I’ve tried to write this a hundred times and I still don’t know if the words are enough,” Osbourne begins her message. “But from the bottom of my heart: thank you.”
The forty-year-old daughter of the recently deceased rocker says that all the messages she has received have helped her in the most difficult time of her life. “Every kind word, every shared memory, every piece of compassion has meant more to me than I can express,” she writes.
“Grief is a strange thing. It overwhelms you in waves. I won’t feel okay for the time being, but the idea that my family is not alone in this pain makes a difference.”
Osbourne previously responded to her father’s death by sharing the lyrics of the Black Sabbath song Changes. Ozzy Osbourne passed away at the age of 76. The British singer, known as the frontman of Black Sabbath, had Parkinson’s disease and had been struggling with health problems for years.
