Jamai Loman about children’s wish: “We talk a lot about it”

Jamai Loman still has a desire to have children. The singer and his partner, actor Michael Muller, regularly have conversations about it.

“We talk about it a lot, but life just goes on,” says the 38-year-old Loman in an interview with De Telegraaf. “Fortunately, I have my nieces and nephew, whom I see every week. For me, they are like my own children. Having children ourselves is not a matter of course for us, we will have to learn to deal with that.”

Loman will be seen next season as the presenter of The Voice Kids, which returns to television. The singer and presenter is also looking forward to the restart of The Voice of Holland, which will return to RTL next year. The talent show disappeared from television in 2022 after reports of transgressive behavior.

“I hope The Voice is well received, because that also has an impact on the kids’ version,” says Loman. “Of course, there is stress behind the scenes. And I’m not going to pretend that ratings don’t mean anything to me, because they do. At a commercial channel, it’s all about the numbers.”
