The Italian film producer Andrea Irelino is working on a film about the life of the recently deceased fashion designer Giorgio Armani. The film is named Armani-The King of Fashion .
“We all know the Armani brand, but we don’t really know the man Giorgio Armani. His story, the sacrifices, the vision that made an Italian dream possible,” Irish Volino tells the Italian news agency Ansa . “As an Italian I feel the duty to honor someone who has elevated the name of our country so high.”
Armani died on Thursday at the age of 91 in the presence of his family. He worked until his last days, shared his fashion house.
Irish Volino previously produced the film Ferrari with Adam Driver in the lead. According to Deadline, Bobby Moresco is attracted to write the script for the Armani film.
