Gordon wants a steady relationship but, to his regret, keeps failing to achieve it. “It’s frustrating when it doesn’t work out,” the singer and presenter said on Tuesday evening in the program Today Inside.
The 56-year-old Gordon said in the broadcast that his attempts at a long-term relationship have failed several times. “It’s hard enough to start a relationship as a celebrity. I’ve been aspiring to that for a long time, I’ve been looking forward to it a lot, and it hasn’t worked out,” he said. “And that’s very frustrating, because I’m a man of love, warmth and cosiness.”
Last year, Gordon lost someone he had been dating for seven months. That person died suddenly. Gordon talked about it earlier in the podcast Mischa!. “But you move on. C’est la vie,” he said in it.
After his appearance on Today Inside, Gordon said he received many positive reactions. “Really flooded with nice, sweet words,” he writes on Instagram. “Also nice for once after all the buckets of shit and hate.”
Gordon’s arrival at Today Inside had already generated a lot of attention. The singer had previously had several clashes with presenter Wilfred Genee and regular table guests Johan Derksen and RenĂ© van der Gijp.
