Diddy allegedly repeatedly sexually abused his former assistant. The woman, who worked for the rapper and entrepreneur for eight years, testified against him in New York court on Thursday.
The woman, testifying under the pseudonym Mia, spoke emotionally about the now 55-year-old Diddy’s violent outbursts of anger. “He didn’t accept no,” said Mia, who was in her twenties when she started working for the hip-hop mogul in 2009.
Mia said that Diddy sexually abused her multiple times during the years she worked for him. She claimed she was raped by him. She also spoke about assaults and the time Diddy forced her to perform oral sex.
Diddy was allegedly regularly violent. During fits of rage, he allegedly threw a computer and a plate of spaghetti at her, among other things. Mia did not go to the police because of the “power” Diddy had. “He had control over me and I didn’t want to lose everything I had worked so hard for.”
Mia is one of four alleged victims testifying against Diddy. Previously, his ex-girlfriend Cassie Ventura had already spoken out. She talked about the physical violence she allegedly experienced during her eleven-year relationship with Diddy. Several other witnesses, including Mia, confirm Ventura’s abuse by Diddy.
Diddy is on trial for, among other things, human trafficking and extortion. His trial, in which dozens of witnesses will speak, is expected to end on July 4. After that, a twelve-member jury will decide whether the musician is guilty.
