Five people in danger because vehicle drives on crowds in Los Angeles

A vehicle drove into a crowd in Los Angeles on Saturday. More than twenty people were injured. Ten of them are in bad shape and about five victims are in life-threatening condition, reports the fire department of the American city.

The incident occurred on Santa Monica Boulevard around 2:00 AM (local time) on the night from Friday to Saturday. That is a major thoroughfare in the metropolis.

Details about the cause of the collision have not been released. Video footage from news agency Reuters shows firefighters and ambulance personnel tending to patients.
