Di-Rect announces club tour in Belgium and Germany for next year

DI-RECT will be touring clubs in Belgium and Germany next year. The band announced a series of performances in March 2026 on social media on Thursday. Ticket sales start Monday morning.

The club tour starts on March 13 in Hamburg and then continues to Leipzig, Berlin, and Munich, among other cities. The performance in Achel, Belgium, was already sold out in pre-sale. The club tour concludes on March 28 in Leuven.

Last week, drummer Jamie Westland announced in the Radio 538 broadcast that DI-RECT would be taking a five-month break. “Eventually, we will meet up again after the summer,” he said at the time. “We also look forward to making new music again.”

It is the first time in the band’s history that the schedule goes “locked.” DI-RECT performed three times in De Kuip in Rotterdam the week before. The concerts attracted about 145,000 visitors together.

The Hague rock band was founded in 1999 and then consisted of Frans ‘Spike’ van Zoest, Bas van Wageningen, and Tim Akkerman in addition to Westland. In 2009, Akkerman left the band, and Marcel Veenendaal became the new lead singer via a television program.
