Coldplay singer Chris Martin warned his fans on Sunday during a performance that they could be filmed. Last week, the CEO of the American software company Astronomer was caught at a Coldplay show during an intimate moment with the HR manager. The video went viral.
Martin addressed the audience in Wisconsin while playing his guitar. “We would like to say hello to some of you in the audience,” the singer said. “We are going to do that by using our cameras and showing you on the big screen.”
Last week, married Astronomer boss Andy Byron and HR manager Kristin Cabot visited a Coldplay concert near Boston. There, the two were filmed hugging by the so-called kiss cam. The images were shown live on a large screen during the concert.
When the two came into view, they visibly ducked away from the camera, looking caught. “Either they are having an affair, or they are just very shy,” Coldplay singer Martin said at that moment.
The video of the two colleagues went viral on social media. Byron was suspended by Astronomer and has since resigned from the company.
