The final English exams of 25 HAVO students from a secondary school in Harderwijk have disappeared without a trace. As a result, the secondary school students have not yet passed and must prepare for a resit.
It concerns 25 students from RSG Slingerbos-Levant in Harderwijk. They were told on Wednesday that their exams were lost, write Omroep Gelderland and Harderwijker Courant.
The English exams were first checked by correctors from RSG Slingerbos-Levant. Then they were posted to the school that would check for the second time. The exams have also arrived there, says a spokesperson for the school.
Yet the exams have somehow gone missing. “All cupboards, paper bins, drawers and folders have been searched, but nothing has been found,” the spokesperson told Omroep Gelderland.
Because the final exams were not found in time, they have been declared invalid. The 25 HAVO students must therefore retake the English exam. That happens during the second period on June 23. The exam does not count as a resit then.
