Jessie Kampman Overhelmingly won The World Title in KiteFoiling on Sunday. The 25-year-old Dutch Woman Was also Far Too Strong for Her Competitors in the Final Round Off the Coast of Sardinia.
The 25-year-old Kampman Has Only Been Sailing Under The Dutch Flag Since Last Summer. She was born in England But Moved with Her Dutch Father and English Mother to France, for which She Competed Until Three Months ago.
Two years ago, Kampman was SeriOutly Injured. She did not qualify for the 2024 Olympic Games on Behalf of France and then decided to compete for the Netherlands after a break.
Kitefoiling was on the Olympic Calendar for the First Time Last Year. It will be on the program again in three years in Los Angeles, with Kampman Possible as One of the Favorites.
At the World Championships, Kampman was a dominant all week. She had a 27-point lead about Defending Champion Lauriane Nolot from France Before the Final Round. Kampman Qualified Directly for the Final Round and Won the First Three Races. The American Daniela Moroz Finished Second and Nolot Third.
