The BBC is a making a new documentary about David Bowie, reports Deadline . The Documentary Will Focus On The Time The Singer Spent in Berlin in the 1970s.
Bowie stepped out of the spotlight in 1976 and moved to berlin to get rid of his cocaine addiction. He wanted to give his career a new direction. The Documentary, Under The Working Title Bowie in Berlin , Will also Include Archive Footage of the Artist himself.
The Hour-and-a-Half Documentary also includes interviews with four Women who played an important Role in Bowie’s Life in Berlin, including the Dutch Romy Haag. The Now 77-Year-old Former AcRESS, Dancer, Singer and Nightclub Owner had a Relationship With Bowie in 1976. The British Rock Musician died in 2016 at the Age of 69 from Cancer.
Francis Whately is directing the documentary. He has already made more bowie documentaries. Documentary Maker, Presenter, Author and Broadcaster Louis Theroux is an executive producer.
