In the Limburg village of Herkenbosch, a man in his own garden died of injuries from a stab incident on Monday morning. The suspected perpetrator wore a balaclava and is still on the run.
Shortly after 8 a.m., the police received a report of an incident to the Van der Landelaan in Herkenbosch. The victim was found seriously injured in the garden. Help to no longer help: the victim died on the spot. It is not (yet) known whether the man lived alone.
According to the police, the suspect wore a balaclava. It is not known whether that means it was a burglar. The suspect, who is described as “petite” and “small in piece”, fled through the garden of the neighbors towards the main road between Roermond and the German border. According to a police spokesperson, the suspect is therefore also looking for in Germany.
