Bolsonaro is on Trial for the Failed Coup on January 8, 2023. His supporters Stormed the Supreme Court, the Presidential Palace, and Congress, After He Lost the Presidential Election at the End of 2022 and Therefore Had To Resign From His President.
Prosecutors Believe Bolsonaro Incited His supporters. He was allegedly Aware of Plans to Depose or Even Assassinate Current President Luiz InĂ¡cio Lula da Silva. The Three Judges also see evidence for this.
The Former President Has also Been Convicted of Participating in A Criminal Organization and Attempting to Abolish Democracy. Bolsonaro Has Thus Been Found Guilty of All Charges Against Him.
Bolsonaro was under house judgment leading up to the trial. Initially, he only had to wear ankle bracelet and was not allowed to use social media. But because he had violated the latter ban, the supreme court imposed house judgment.
