Nine B&B owners went looking for love in B&B full of love this summer. Every day about three million people saw how Ilya, Ingrid, Jean Paul, Dick, Eveline, Rob, Magda, Daniël and Petra were dating. Now we know who has found love happiness.
In Spain, love went through the stomach, or in the glass: Jean Paul could not get enough of his ‘typical’ Mondays, Tuesdays and the rest of the week and dragged his seven ladies from one party to the other. Tasty sandwiches, hams and especially a lot of glasses of cava went through it in recent weeks.
Jean Paul looked for “just a nice woman”, but did not find it between the seven “just nice women” who came by with him. Marianne seemed like a possibility, but as she said: if someone is really interested, he makes the effort. And Jean Paul didn’t do that.
The adventure in Portugal was not completely fruitless, because he helped good friend Kees with a possible lover: he still dates with Britt.
(No) Love on a Greek island
Love was sought very busy on the Greek Lesbos. The island has less than 100,000 inhabitants, so Petra and Ingrid had to look for love outside the borders.
At Ingrid that was not always easy. “I am not a woman who quickly gives herself,” she says, and her male visitors can only confirm that. Eric, who remained last, thinks it’s a shame. He did his best, but the brake stayed with Ingrid.
Although the island is about the same size as the Groene Hart, Ingrid and Petra have never met each other. The two now intend to have a drink together. Then more than just a pot of coffee comes on the table, says Ingrid. Petra found the invitation a bit suggestive: “Are you going to the wrong side?”
Petra is also available, but finds out with Lieske if there is more to it than a friendship. She herself thinks they fit very well together, and Lieske can only confirm that. “We love each other and then see if we can fall in love.”
Cooking in France
Magda is moved when you see her adventure. “They are very sweet, while I am such a cat,” says 75-year-old Magda. She found double happiness in her B&B in France: with Rob she is now good friends and the two, entirely against Rob’s normal level (the snack bar), went to a star restaurant.
With Eugene there may still be true love on the horizon. The two see each other regularly and have since met each other’s children, who are really a fan back and forth. Magda feels “deep affection” for her “gene”, but does not yet know how it will end.
Rob could not stop baking, so that there was little time for the viewers to really get to know him. His women also have that feeling. Still, Margo seemed to work just like that when he came back early.
That turned out to be for nothing. “Love must come, something of feeling. And that didn’t come to me, so that stops with me,” says Rob. Margo continues to wonder whether Rob is open to love. Rob: “Be sure for the right person.”
Tropical love was just waiting
Dick needed for a while, but eventually warmed up towards Moniek. The two have seen each other here in the Netherlands and Moniek even went on family weekend.
In Suriname it clicked very much, but it is just not in Dick. “With love it is something very difficult. Everything can click like that, but then there must be just that one thing extra that you can’t put a finger on,” he says. Moniek thinks it’s a shame. “But if it doesn’t feel 100 percent for one, it’s just like that.”
Dicks girls have found each other. They have a group app and have already agreed with six. “Girls Who Dick Together, Stick Together.”
Eveline lost her father during the process and is very grateful that she has this “monument” for him. In her search she came across Bart. For a long time it seemed like he was the true one for her, but during the reunion it turns out to have turned out differently. The two like each other and have a lot of respect for each other, but they see the future differently.
Eveline did not sit still after the departure of Bart. In the meantime, as a Barts, she is a surprise together with a Villagast. “I can say that that is my great love.”
‘We are glued together’
Daniel did not find love with Renske, but at Danique. And they are still very in love. In the meantime the two live together and they have not been apart for more than two weeks. Danique: “We are glued together. The motto is: it is never close enough.”
Ilya and Sylvia still give each other “cuses”, but have never given it a label. “She just didn’t leave,” says Ilya. According to him, love does not exist at first sight. “But there was a click on first sight.”
