Draper ends breakthrough year prematurely: 'I played great'

Jack Draper has decided to end his tennis season prematurely. The World Number Seven is experienced problems with an arm injury. The 23-year-old Draper, who was the best in Indian Wells in March, was Having the Best Season of his Career.

“Unfortunately, due to an arm injury, I have to rest and miss the rest of 2025. It is very diffress for me to accept, as I have build up incredible momentum this year and have played great,” Draper wrote on Instagram.

“But I’ve bone through this before and I always come back stronger. Because I am so motivated to reach my potential as a player. I can’t wait to get back to work and give it all.”

Draper was Letterly the Number Four in the World This Summer. He owed that ranking in part to his semi-final place at the US open last year. This year he withdrew from the last grand slam tournament of the year after winning the opening round.

Due to his Injury, The Brit Misses The Masters Tournaments in Shanghai and Paris, as well as the ATP Finals year-end Tournament, for which he would have had to qualify.
