Pro-Palestinian demonstrator causes fall in fifteenth stage Vuelta

A Pro-Palestinian demonstrator caused a fall on Sunday in the fifteenth stage of the Vuelta a España. Two riders in a chasing group went down.

At about 55 kilometers from the finish, a Pro-Palestinian demonstrator ran with a flag from the side of the road to the chasing group. The man stumbled and fell.

From the other side of the road a police officer came running to stop the demonstrator. Then the Spaniard Javier Romo and a rider from Soudal Quick-Step went down. The images do not clearly see who the other rider is.

It is not the first time that the riders have been hindered by Pro-Palestinian protests. On Wednesday, the peloton could not even finish because demonstrators had hit the road at the finish in Bilbao.

The Pro-Palestinian protesters are protesting against the participation of cycling team Israel Prime Minister Tech on the Vuelta. Earlier, the riders of this team were hindered during the team time trial by demonstrators who entered the course.

Due to the ongoing Pro-Palestinian protests, Israel Prime Minister Tech decided to adjust the shirt in the Vuelta on Saturday. For safety reasons, the name Israel is no longer on the outfit.

The Pro-Palestinian demonstrators are Protesting Against the Participation of Cycling Team Israel Prime Minister Tech in the Vuelta. Earlier, The Riders of This Team Were Hindered During the Team Time Trial by Demonstrators Who Entered the Course.

Due to the Ongoing Pro-Palestinian Protests, Israel Prime Minister Tech Decided to Change its shirt in the Vuelta on Saturday. For the safety of the riders, the name Israel is no longer on the kit.
