On Friday morning, Brrak broke out in a house on Kasteelstraat. The fire brigade reported around 4.45 am that the house was completely on fire and could no longer be saved. Not much later the house collapsed.
The fire brigade did not yet know whether there was anyone in the home, the Zeeland Safety Region safely reports in a statement.
Just before 5.30 the signal fire was given. The deceased person was then found during the exploration of the house by the fire brigade.
