Phil Collins is in the hospital for knee surgery, his spokesperson tells TMZ. Rumors circulated on social media in recent days that the 74-year-old singer was in a hospice, leading to great concern among fans.
The spokesperson emphasizes that the Genesis singer is not dying.
Earlier this year, Collins indicated in an interview with MOJO that he is struggling with serious health problems. It is not known exactly what he is suffering from. “I’m sick, and I mean really sick,” he said at the time.
The singer already stopped performing in 2022 due to increasing complaints about his hands and legs. During Genesis’ farewell tour, he performed while seated, while his son Nic took over the drumming.
