Douwe Bob had to prematurely end a concert at the Caprera open-air theater in Bloemendaal on Saturday. The singer lost his voice and could not continue.
“Due to voice problems, we had to end the show prematurely,” Douwe Bob reports on Instagram. The singer simultaneously apologizes and announces that the show will be made up on September 16.
The video on Instagram shows that Douwe Bob, despite his early departure, could count on a standing ovation from the audience.
Douwe Bob has not yet recovered his voice on Sunday. He was scheduled to perform in the so-called Tourcafé in Sound & Vision during the live broadcast of NOS Radio Tour de France on NPO Radio 1.
