Bert van Leeuwen, presenter of Het Familiediner, brings the longest-running EO television program to the theater. During the performance, the audience will see never-before-seen fragments of 25 years of family feuds and reconciliations.
“What you see on television is often just the tip of the iceberg,” says the 65-year-old Van Leeuwen. “During this performance, we’ll take you behind the scenes. Sometimes painful, often touching, but always with the goal of bringing people closer together.”
He will also discuss with psychologist Bernadette Klaassen where family feuds come from. In addition, visitors will receive practical tools to deal with family conflicts in a positive and valuable way.
As a presenter, Van Leeuwen also made programs such as Soep, sores en soelaas, Proef eenzaamheid, Concert van hoop, Gepest van 9-5 and Je geld of mijn leven, in addition to Het Familiediner.
Het Familiediner can be seen in theaters throughout the Netherlands from November.
