Justin Bieber has reached a settlement with his former manager Scooter Braun in a financial dispute over the cancellation of Bieber’s Justice tour in 2022. According to entertainment site TMZ, Braun will receive $31.5 million from Bieber.
Bieber received an advance of $40 million from concert organizer AEG for the Justice World Tour.
When the tour was canceled, AEG demanded $26 million back from the Canadian singer. Braun’s company, Hybe, then advanced this amount, on the condition that Bieber would repay the money in installments within ten years. It would have remained with one payment. After that, according to sources, Bieber transferred no more money.
In addition, Bieber’s former manager will receive half of $11 million in unpaid commissions. Bieber and Scooter have not publicly confirmed the settlement.
