Princess Amalia is recovering well from the broken bone in her arm. The Princess of Orange fell off her horse earlier this month but is not afraid to ride again. At the annual press event, she said she could hardly wait.
Amalia broke her arm on June 10th. In conversation with the press, she says it was a nasty fall. “My arm was at an angle, and I couldn’t do much with it.”
Due to the fall, she had to cancel several obligations. The 21-year-old princess had to undergo surgery and is not finished with rehabilitation yet. During the session, she said that she occasionally has to hang her arm in a sling so that it gets some rest.
Still, Amalia can’t wait to get back on the horse. “When I came out of the hospital, I immediately went by and gave it a cookie. Everything is good again.”
