The hip-hop collective New Wave will give four concerts in the Ziggo Dome at the beginning of February. The group will be in the Amsterdam concert hall on February 3, 4, 5 and 6, 2026, organizer MOJO announced on Tuesday.
It was announced last week that New Wave would reunite after ten years, but details about the performances were still lacking. Ticket sales start Friday.
New Wave was created in 2015 when a group of young artists, including rappers, singers and producers, worked together for a week on Schiermonnikoog. That session produced the joint album New Wave, with which the members gained national fame. Artists such as Ronnie Flex, Lil Kleine, Jonna Fraser, Frenna and $hirak broke through thanks to the project.
The album was awarded two Edisons and the collective unexpectedly won the Popprijs. The song Drank & Drugs by Lil Kleine and Ronnie Flex became a number 1 hit. Songs such as Zeg Dat Niet, Langste SMS and Investeren In De Liefde also became popular tracks.
It is not yet known whether all original members are involved in the upcoming concerts.
