Mariah Carey doesn’t want to celebrate her birthdays. The 56-year-old singer said this in an interview with British radio station Capital FM. “I don’t believe in the passage of time.”
Carey also said she doesn’t use clocks. The interviewer then asked how she makes appointments. “I would have someone call you to arrange something,” Carey said.
The Emotions singer has spoken out about getting older in the past. In 2014, she said in an interview with Out Magazine that she is twelve years old forever. “I don’t count the years. I have anniversaries, not birthdays, because I celebrate life,” she said.
