Gabriƫl Reiziger, the son of Jong Oranje coach Michael Reiziger, has signed his first professional contract with PEC Zwolle. Also, sc Heerenveen stirred on the transfer market, with the signing of Maas Willemsen.
The nineteen-year-old Reiziger has signed a contract with PEC until mid-2028. The midfielder came from Ajax to Zwolle three years ago. He played this season for PEC under 21, where he scored fifteen times in 26 games.
“This season I was often allowed to train with the first team. That was very educational and makes me want more. Next season I want to ignite, develop myself further and of course make my debut with the first team,” says Reiziger.

Sc Heerenveen has signed Willemsen as the first reinforcement for the new season. The 22-year-old defender comes on a free transfer from Keuken Kampioen Divisie club De Graafschap.
Willemsen made his debut for De Graafschap in 2023 and was a permanent fixture in the first team last season with 38 matches. He has signed a contract in Heerenveen until mid-2029.
“Maas is a left-footed central defender, a physically strong player and an intelligent guy,” says technical manager Johan Hansma of Heerenveen. “We think that his character fits well with the ambitions of the club and we are convinced that he will continue to develop excellently in the coming years.”
