Yolanthe denies that Ex Wesley Sneijder gave her millions: 'anything but true'

Yolanthe Cabau denies receiving millions of euros from Wesley Sneijder after their divorce. The actress is responding to media reports claiming this.

“Various media outlets are reporting that I received 19 million from Wesley when we separated. This is far from the truth,” Cabau wrote on Instagram on Monday. “I never received any money from Wesley (nothing, zero) and never asked for it.”

According to the forty-year-old actress, she takes care of “all the bills for myself and for Xess (the son of Cabau and Sneijder, ed.)”. “It is claimed that I speak so respectfully and lovingly about Wesley because he would have given me so much money. It’s a shame that we live in a world where that’s how people think. A woman can’t stand on her own two feet and be loving and respectful at the same time.”

Cabau further states that much has been written about her over the years that is not true, but she has always chosen not to respond to it. “But now that I have chosen to share my whole life with the world in my reality show on Netflix, I feel the need to be transparent about this as well.” She shares this now because she believes it is important “to show that as a woman you can follow your own path and dreams, even if you end up being alone.”

Last week, the reality series Yolanthe was released on Netflix, in which Cabau gives a glimpse into her life in Los Angeles. The actress moved to the American city with their now nine-year-old son Xess Xava after her divorce from Sneijder in 2019. The series shows that Cabau and Sneijder maintain good contact with each other.
