Twelve injured after stabbing in Hamburg, the police hold the suspect

In a stabbing incident in Hamburg, Germany, on Friday evening, at least twelve people were injured. The police have arrested a woman.

The stabbing took place around 6:15 PM in the city’s central station.

Three victims are in critical condition, according to German police to news medium Bild. Three others were seriously injured, and six people suffered minor injuries. Some of the injured are reportedly being treated in a train, according to the media.

Train traffic at the station has been completely suspended. A crisis team from the Red Cross is also present to support victims and witnesses.

It is still unclear exactly what happened.
