A vehicle drove into a crowd in Los Angeles on Saturday, injuring 28 people. Nine of the injured are in serious condition. Three of the victims are in life-threatening condition, according to the Los Angeles Fire Department.
The incident occurred on Santa Monica Boulevard around 2:00 AM (local time) on Friday night. That is a major thoroughfare in the city.
Three people have been taken to the hospital in critical condition. Six others were seriously injured. Another nineteen people have minor injuries.
