Three people died in a crash tourist plane in the French residential area

In the French municipality of Champhol, three people died in a plane crash on Friday. A small tourist plane suddenly crashed in a residential area around 4 p.m. It is not clear what the cause of the crash is.

According to the French newspaper La Montagne, there were a pilot and a couple on board the plane. All three came from the Eure department, northwest of Paris. The three made a reconnaissance flight when the aircraft suddenly crashed.

The plane flew through two houses during the crash, hit a wall and then bumped into a parked car. The engine of the aircraft was found tens of meters from the wreck. Homes were not damaged. Apart from the car, the area was largely spared.

Emergency services were quickly on site, partly because the fire station is 100 meters from the crash location. Medical teams tried to resuscitate the occupants, but the help came too late.

The aircraft was owned by a regional flying club at Chartropole airport, south of the accident site.
