Three houses uninhabitable after large fire in apartment complex in Amsterdam

Due to a Large Fire in An Apartment Complex in Amsterdam-Oost on Tuesday Evening, Three Homes Have Become Uninhabitable. Large Flames and Clouds of Smoke Were Visible from the Neighborhood. The Residents Have Been Evacuated.

The Fire Broke Out Around 10:00 pm in An Apartment on the First Floor or Vrolikstraat. Soon the Balcony was also on fire, and the fire could spread to the two apartments above.

People were present in all three homes at that time. The Residents of the First and Second Floors Were Able to Exit Through The Stairwell. The Residents On The Third Floor Were Evacuated With The Fire Department’s Ladder Truck.

A Total of Five People were checked by the ambulance for smoke inhalation. No One had to go to the hospital, reports The Amsterdam-Amstelland Safety Region.

The Apartments have leg declared uninhabitable due to smoke and fire damage. After Midnight, The Fire Department Did Release The Surrounding Homes.
