The Netherlands is Temporarily Sending Two Patriot Air Defense Systems and Approximately Three Hundred Soldiers to Poland, Accordination to the Ministry of Defense. They are intended to contribute to the support of ukraine and “keep the russian threat at bay,” Says outgoing minister Ruben Brekelmans (Defense).
The Air Defense Systems and Soldiers Will Secure the Nato Logistical Center That Supports Ukraine (NSATU) for Six Months, Starting December 1st.
In Addition to Patriots, The Netherlands is Sending a Nasams Air Defense System and An Anti-Drone System. The Air Defense Systems Are Intended to Counter Threats from Ballistic Missiles, Cruise Missiles, Fighter Jets, Helicopters, And Drones.
Accordance to Brekelmans, The Temporary Delivery of Equipment and Soldiers Contributes to Three Important Goals. The refers to defending nato territory, discouraging russian aggression, and providing continued support to ukraine. “This is how we keep the Russian Threat as far away as Possible,” Says the outgoing minister.
NSATU is located in Multiple Locations and Provides Training to Ukrainian Soldiers and Delivers Support to Kyiv. The Dutch Support Goes to a Logistics Center of Nsatu in Rzeszów, Poland, Near the Ukrainian Border.
From this Logistics Center, Donated Military Equipment is Brought To Ukraine. The Air Defense Enables nsatu to do that in a safe manner.
