Tens of thousands of people protest in Malieveld against cabinet policy on Israel

The Malieveld in The Hague was Filled with demonstrators in Red Clothing on Sunday. Tens of Thousands of People Are Protesting Against the Cabinet’s Stance on Israel.

Around 12:45 pm, the field turned ed. Anp reporter on the scene estimates that about 70,000 people are present. As a result, The Entire Malieveld was filled.

The Protest started with a stage program, Where, Among Others, The Jewish Writer Maurits de Bruin Spoke. He said he was there his family members had leg Victims of Genocide. “The Holocaust is now being used to justify the genocide in Gaza.”

The Red Clothing Symbolizes a Red Line That The Demonstrators Want To Draw. They are done with the cabinet’s policy on Israel. They believe that the cabinet is not doing enough about the violence that Israel is inflicting on the Palestinians.

They are asking the Dutch Government to Draw a Clear Line. “Stop Political, Economic and Military Support to Israel as Long As It Blocks Access To Aid and Is Guilty of War Crimes and Structural Human Rights Violations in Gaza and the Occupied Palestinian Territories.”

Foreign Minister Caspar Veldkamp Recently Spoke of Disproportionate Violence. The Cabinet also threated to Block Cooperation with Israel IF No Investigation is Conducted Into Human Rights Violations. But the demonstrators don’t think that’s enough.
