Nineteen forest workers and five volunteers got caught by the wind when the wind turned and the fire blew their way, Yumakli writes. According to the Birgün newspaper, they tried to hide in a cave.
The victims were then taken to the hospital as soon as possible, reports Yumakli. The help came too late for five volunteers and five forest workers. The other fourteen are still being treated.
