Ski legend Hirscher is back on track in Olympic season after long rehabilitation

Marcel Hirscher Has Made His Return to the Slopes After 277 Days of Rehabilitation. The Ski Legend, Who Now Competes For The Netherlands, Made His First Runs This Week at SnowWorld in Zoetermeer.

Hirscher tore his anterior cruciate ligament last December. The 36-Year-Old Skier had just returned after five years of absence and feared the end of his career.

“Dealing with an injury is something I’ve never had to deal with before,” Hirscher Said Friday in a press release from his sponsor Red Bull. “It was a special experience. It certainly was’s fun, but it was interesting to start with very small steps.”
