Defenser Aryna Sabalenka and the American Amanda Anisimova qualified for the final of the US Open on Thursday. Sabalenka had difficulty with Jessica Pegula in the semi -finals, while Anisimova defeated Naomi Osaka in a debilitating party.
The 27-year-old Sabalenka had to go deep to beat the fourth-placed American Pegula. After more than two hours, the number one in the world decided the party at her third match point: 4-6, 6-3 and 6-4.
