Ria Valk will participate in the Night of Nostalgia in September. It is the first time in a long time that the 84-year-old singer will perform again. Cancer was diagnosed again in her in March.
Cancer was also diagnosed in Valk in 2023, 2019 and 2013. All times she went under the knife.
“I feel a lot better than before,” the singer says in De Telegraaf on Monday. “It’s been tough, but now I’m back on track.”
During the Night of Nostalgia, older stars perform their hits from the past. Ronnie Tober, Ben Cramer, Astrid Nijgh, Jacques Herb and Hans de Booij also participate in the concert. “After the kick-off at the end of September, the intention is that we will go through the whole country,” says Valk.
The Night of Nostalgia will take place on September 20 in Schouwburg Amstelveen.
