Ten students from a sailing school and their supervisors were brought to safety by the Royal Dutch Rescue Society (KNRM) and the Rescue Brigade. That happened at sea off the coast of Scheveningen.
The Sailing School counseling boat was struggling with motorcycle problems, a KNRM spokesperson told NU.nl.
Three vessels from the KNRM have accompanied two motor boats and four catamarans with the help of the rescue brigade. A trauma helicoper landed on the beach, Regio15 reports. Two ambulances were also called.
One of the students was brought to a hospital with sub -cooling symptoms. Two children were treated on the spot.
