The Netflix series Wednesday will get another sequel. The streaming service announced on Wednesday that a third season is coming. The second season has yet to premiere.
“It has been a dark pleasure to see Wednesday captivate a global audience with her enchantment. We are incredibly excited that she will return to wander the halls of Nevermore again in season three,” say creators Alfred Gough and Miles Millar.
“This time she will uncover even more sinister secrets of the school and delve even deeper into the crypt of the Addams family.”
In Wednesday, Jenna Ortega plays the daughter of the famous spooky family Addams. Catherine Zeta-Jones and Luis Guzmán play her parents Morticia and Gomez Addams.
The second season of the series will be released in two parts on Netflix. The first part can be seen from August 6. The second part follows from September 3. Like the first season, the second season is also directed by Tim Burton.
