Police intervenes at Pro-Palestinian demonstration at EK Honkbal in Rotterdam

The Police Intervened on Saturday at a pro-Palestinian protest prior to the European Baseball Championship match Between Israel and France. Boxes of People Were arrested at the Neptunus Stadium in Rotterdam. The Protesters Blocked the Entrance to the Stadium.

The Police had directed protesters to the designated demonstration area. When the Protesters did not comply, The Police Intervend. The Protesters had Been at the Entrance to the Stadium Since 11:45 am. The Police Intervention Cleared the Entrance from 3:00 pm.

Israel is Playing the Opening Match Against France in Rotterdam. The match was scheduled to start at 1:00 pm but was postponed to 3:30 pm due to rain, Accordination to a Spokesperson.

Supporters were unable to enter the protest and waited for a few hours in front of the main enttrance. They asked police officers to intervene. The supporters are now standing a little further away away under a bridge and are recurring coffee.

The Baseball fans were called upon by the protesters to go home. A demonstrator Spoke Directly to the Supporters with a Megaphone. She felt that they were supporting a genocide with the match.

A Smoke Bomb was also Thrown Onto the Grounds of the European Championship. One of the Baseball supporters Sang an Israeli Song, but major confrontations between the Two Groups Did Not Occur.

A Spokesperson for the Event’s Organization Says It is Unfortunate That The Entrance Was Blocked. “I hope people can get inside soon.”
