Pole ignores Red Cross at Zwolle and appears to have to go to jail for another ten years

A Polish man who still has a ten-year prison sentence to serve has been accidentally arrested in the Netherlands. The man was exposed when he ignored a red cross sign near Zwolle. He was wanted in Germany for multiple armed robberies.

The 28-year-old man was arrested on Tuesday while driving on the A28 near Zwolle.

“Officers saw that the driver of the vehicle ignored a red cross above the highway several times and decided to check the car and driver,” police reported on Thursday. The man could not produce any identification.

He was arrested when it turned out that he was wanted in Germany. The court in Amsterdam will soon decide whether the man should be extradited to Germany.
