Pierre Gasly HAS Extended His Contract With Alpine by Two Years. The Frenchman is now contracted to the formula 1 team Until the end of 2028.
“I am delighted to commit to alpine for the long term,” Gasly said in a press release on Saturday. “I am proud to continuous representing this French team for many years as a Frenchman.”
The 29-year-old Gasly Has Been Driving for Alpine Since 2023. The Driver has Since Reached the Podium Twice in Formula 1. He finished thirt in Both Zandvoort (2023) and São Paulo (2024).
“This Agreement Reinforces Alpine’s Conviction that Pierre is the Driver who will lead us into the new regulatory era in 2026 and beyond,” Alpine Reports.
Team Boss Flavio Briatore is Happy with the New Deal. “Since my return in 2024, I have always tried to push alpine to greater heights,” Says the Italian. “Now that our first Driver Has Reaffirmed His Commitment, We Are Confidently Facing 2026.”
Gasly Has One Victory in Formula 1
Gasly has so far driven 168 Grands Prix and won Once: in 2020 at Monza. He was Max Verstappen’s Teammate at Red Bull for Six Months in 2019. The Frenchman also Drove for Red Bull’s Sister Team for Years: Toro Rosso and later Alphatauri.
In The Current Season, Gasly Has Twenty Points. He is the only alpine driver with points so far this year. Jack Doohan started this season as Gasly’s teammate, but had to make way for franco colapinto after six races.
Gasly Hopes to Score Points Again on the Monza Circuit on Sunday. The Qualifying Session for the Italian Grand Prix is on Saturday at 4:00 pm. The Race Starts on Sunday at 3:00 pm.
