McLaren Secured the Constructors’ Title at the Singapore Grand Prix on Sunday, but that was not the main topic of conversation afterwards. Lando Norris and Oscar Piastri Made Contact in the First Corner and Both Saw the Situation Differently.
“The contact was not iDeal. I’m going to talk to the team about this,” Piastri Said after the race about the incident with teammate norris in the first corner.
Norris was unawware or any problems. “It was Slippery and Wet in Several Places. I had to correct a little bit, but there was noting else wrong. It was just a good fight.”
The Englishman Finished Third, While Piastri Finished Fourth. As a result, norris gains four points on the australian in the battle for the world championship title among drivers. The Difference is still 22 points in Piastri’s favor.
Team Boss Zak Brown Saw No Problems in The Battle Between the Drivers. “They Race Hard, But Clean. I hope for even more Victories for Both Drivers.”
Constructors’ Championship Does Bring Joy
The Drivers Agreed On One Thing: They Were Both Happy to Win the Constructors’ Championship. “That’s one of the team’s two goals. So this title is very important to us,” Piastri Said.
Brown Praised Piastri and Norris, Who Secured the Title for McLaren Six Races Before the End. “You need two great drivers for this. But of course this is a team effort with all the people at the factory.” McLaren also won the Constructors’ Championship last season.
Andrea Stella, The Other Team Boss of McLaren, Hopes to Extend the Winning Streak Next Season. “We know it will be difficult due to the regulatory changes, but we will do every thing we can.”
