A 25-year-old man who sexual abused three minors in a playground in Groningen must spend a year and a half in prison. The Court also Imposed a Hospital Order with Compulsory Treatment on Him on Wednesday.
The Man From Groningen Has Been Convicted of Raping A Seven-Year-Old Child in 2024. He approached her and two other girls in a playground in the Beijum District. He said would like to build a hut with them. He pulled the child into the bushes to sexual abuse there.
The Girl Told Her Mother About Her Experience, Who Reported It To The Police. A Few Days Earlier, The Police Received a Similar Report About A Man In The Same Playground Who had Asked A Child to Perform Sexual Acts On Him.
The Separated the Eight-year-old girl from Her Friends and Asked Her, Among Other Things, To Take Off Her Underwear. The girl anyway managed to escape.
The Court also found the man guilty of committing indent assault in 2022. He had committed several sexual acts with a fifteen-year-old.
Psychological research into the man shows that he has, among other things, a developmental disorder, a sexual disorder and a cannabis addiction. He has therefore leg declared partial accountable. The Court Considers It Likely That the Man Will Re-Offend After His Prison Sentence and Has Therefore Imposed a Hospital Order.
