Organization reports 250,000 participants in Rode Line Protest in Amsterdam

250,000 people will join the third red line protest in Amsterdam on Sunday, reports organizer Oxfam Novib. The participants are calling on the outgoing cabinet to stop the violence in Gaza.

The demonstrators gathered on Sunday afternoon at Museumplein in Amsterdam, where various speeches were held. At 1.45 pm they started the Mars through the capital.

The procession of protesters is so long that an hour after the start of the Mars people are still waiting at the Museumplein who want to join in, reports an AT5 reporter.

It is the largest red line protest so far. The previous two editions in The Hague attracted 100,000 and 150,000 people respectively.
